Uthlid Cottages

The location was perfect for exploring the Golden Circle, with beautiful views of Iceland's famous volcanoes. the hot tubs, both in the communal pool and our own private one, were a highlight and provided complete relaxation. the apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. the hot water in the bathroom was consistently hot with good pressure. the internet connection was reliable, which was important for staying connected. We also appreciated the help from the staff in printing some forms we needed. it was a great experience and the hot tub made even the rainy weather enjoyable.

The cabin we stayed in at Uthlid was perfect for our needs. It had a kitchen and a comfortable sitting area, and despite being a bit small, it was clean and well-maintained. We had a great night enjoying the lovely view of the Northern Lights from outside our cabin. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The views from the cottages are breathtaking, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. the rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. the cottages have a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living area. there is an indoor hot tub available to relax in.

The hot tub water was a bit too hot for a comfortable soak.

The location was fine, with miles of snowy land right outside my porch. The cottages were warm and cozy, with floor heating to keep me comfortable. The fully functional kitchen had everything I needed for a quick meal. The staff was polite and nice, making me feel welcome. And to top it off, the hot bath tube was a heavenly experience! I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at the Uthlid Cottages! The location was perfect, close to Geysir and Gullfoss. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was warm and cosy. The hot bath tub was a highlight, such a relaxing experience. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay special, even offering to sell us supplies from her kitchen when we arrived late. Despite some minor cleanliness issues in the kitchen, everything else was perfect. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Uthlid.

The location is amazing for those seeking privacy and natural beauty. A four-wheel car is necessary in winter. the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. the cottage is spacious, warm, and modern. the view is fantastic. the hot top with geothermal water at the cottage is a gem. Great value for money.

Well-equipped cottages near Geysirs and Gullfoss with on-site restaurant and petrol pump. Remote location for northern light spotting. Amazing view, especially from the hot tub. Spacious with comfortable living room, queen size bed, and full kitchen facilities. Upgraded to 2-bedroom cottage with great night for Northern Lights viewing.
